Common questions

My dog is really anxious. Will he cope?

That's most of who I see. One dog at a time means no barking, no waiting in a crate, and we go at his pace. If he's not having it that day, we stop and you don't pay.

How often should he come in?

Six to eight weeks for a curly or wool coat, ten to twelve for most short coats. I'll tell you honestly what yours needs after the first visit.

What if he's badly matted?

Welfare comes first — if the mats are tight to the skin, brushing them out hurts. I'll clip short, explain why, and we'll get the coat back over the next couple of visits.

Do you do cats?

Not at the minute, sorry.
